Next Saturday 15th February at 10:00, Dr. Romina Vignolo Lobato will participate in the CIRNO 2025 Congress, to be held in Valencia, with a presentation entitled ‘New tools in early treatment with aligners’.
Early treatment of malocclusions is essential to guarantee a harmonious development of the stomatognathic system. Early correction makes it possible to intervene in transversal problems and guide mandibular and maxillary growth, favouring a balanced and functional occlusion. One of the key aspects in this intervention is the inclination of the occlusal plane, as its alteration can affect mandibular dynamics and compromise masticatory function and long-term stability.
Aligners have revolutionised interceptive orthodontics by providing precise control of tooth movement in all three planes of space. Their ability to correct occlusal plane tilt early contributes to a more stable interarch relationship and reduces the need for more invasive treatment in the future.
