On April 17 and 18, we held the second module of our specialized master’s program in clear aligners, the Clear Aligner Training Program.
These two intensive days of advanced training allowed our students to delve deeper into clinical protocols, biomechanics, and the planning of complex cases using clear aligners.
On the first day, the program focused on addressing more complex treatments in adult patients, covering concepts such as sequential distalization, the management of Class II malocclusions, the virtual jump, cases involving extractions, and the treatment of impacted teeth.
The second day was dedicated to interceptive orthodontics with aligners and treatment of growing patients, addressing key topics such as the control of harmful habits and their impact on dentofacial development, early treatment of negative dentoalveolar discrepancy, the evaluation and correction of crossbites, vertical control, as well as the clinical management of Class II and III malocclusions in growing patients.
In addition to the theoretical sessions, students participated in clinical practice sessions aimed at applying all these concepts to the daily reality of the dental practice.
We continue to move forward with a program designed to offer rigorous, up-to-date, and eminently clinical training. On to the third module!
