This past weekend, from 23 to 25 May, the XXXV Annual Meeting of the Portuguese Society of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics (SPODF) was held in the picturesque city of Viana do Castelo. Dozens of orthodontic colleagues gathered to discuss the latest techniques and technologies in one of the most important meetings of the sector in Portugal.
Angel Academy had the honour of participating in the lecture programme on Saturday 25th , with Dr. David González Zamora, official speaker of Angel Aligner, in his third year as a speaker. Under the title “Digital innovations that will transform treatment with aligners”, Dr González Zamora presented several clinical cases to illustrate how artificial intelligence applied to diagnosis and planning, together with improvements in materials and the integration of 3D diagnostic images, are opening up a new horizon of innovation, expanding treatment options and improving their effectiveness.
