This past weekend, 19 and 20 September, one of the most important events in the world of orthodontics in Spain took place in Zaragoza: the Congress organised by the Spanish Orthodontic Society focused on the world of aligners: the 4th Congress on Aligners and New Technologies.
Two intense days where we had the opportunity to participate, once again, as speakers. On this occasion, Dr. David González Zamora, through his talk ‘Transverse correction with aligners: from early treatment to resolution in adults,’ shared with the hundreds of colleagues who gathered at the congress an overview of the treatment of transverse problems at different ages, from early treatment to adolescent and adult treatment, emphasising the particularities of each. He also showed how the use of MARPE increases the limits of classic treatment and how the use of aligners offers great versatility when treating crossbite in adult patients who choose either a surgical or non-surgical option, through compensation.
As always, it was a pleasure to share our clinical practice and listen to the great contributions of the other speakers and colleagues. We are grateful to the SEDO team for their trust in us for another year, and of course, to the Angel Aligner team for their support. See you at the 5th edition!
