Introductory course Angel Aligner

This past 21st of February, Dr. David González Zamora and Dr. Romina Vignolo Lobato, had the honour of giving a masterclass to the students of the Master’s Degree in Orthodontics at the European University Miguel de Cervantes in Valladolid. Throughout the day, we were able to provide the students with a general understanding of this type of orthodontics, covering its history, basic principles, planning and design techniques, advantages and limitations as well as the review of case studies and analysis of results.

As always, it is a pleasure to return to the university and share with the next generation of orthodontists the incredible innovations of this new system of orthodontics.

Programme

The ‘Introduction to Angel Aligner’ class is designed to provide orthodontic students with a fundamental understanding of Angel Aligner clear aligners. This session, led by recognized experts in the field, Dr. Romina Vignolo Lobato and Dr. David Gonzalez Zamora, will cover the basic principles and advanced techniques associated with these aligners.

Topics will include:

• Angel Aligner History and Development: Exploration of the technological advances and evolution of aligners from their conception to the present day.
• Aligner Basics: Understanding how aligners work and their application in orthodontic treatment.
• Planning and Design Techniques: Using iortho to plan and design customised Angel Aligner treatments.
• Advantages and Limitations: Discussion of the advantages of using Angel Aligner compared to other orthodontic treatment options.
• Case Studies and Results Analysis: Review of real cases to better understand the practical application and results obtained with Angel Aligner.

The class will also include an interactive session where students will be able to ask questions and discuss cases with the lecturers.
